Somali PM lives another day, Somalia plunges deeper in political chaos

Mogadishu, Somalia, November 24th (Somali Agenda)–Parliamentarians loyal to Somalia’s embattled Prime Minister successfully disrupt a debate on a motion of no confidence for the third time in a row as Somalia plunged deeper into a political gridlock.
Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud fell out with his Prime Minister Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed over a recent reshuffle which targeted Somalia’s powerful Justice and Constitutional Affairs Minister Farah Sheikh Abdulqadir. The reshuffle drew an immediate rebuke from allies of the President triggering a political crisis in the country.
The International Community led by the United States have condemned Somalia’s political bickering.
Much of Somalia is currently facing a massive humanitarian crisis affecting almost three million Somalis according to the United Nations.
