The Turkish Foreign Ministry has released a statement condemning a bombing attack in Somalia on Wednesday in which up to 10 people lost their lives.
The attack targeted a convoy carrying diplomats from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Somalia’s capital of Mogadishu. “We strongly condemn and denounce this terrorist attack which targeted the peace and stability in Somalia. We wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in the attack, convey our condolences to their families and hope for a speedy recovery of the wounded,” read the statement posted on the ministry’s website.
